New on Videoland: best series and films of December

Girl of Pleasure (season 3)

In the two previous seasons of Girl of Fun, Nadine (Angela Schijf) drastically changed course after a divorce. She decided to work as an escort and then start a successful escort agency. This is not without a struggle, because Nadine experiences unpleasant competition from another escort company led by Meryem (Birgit Schuurman). The third season will be released in its entirety on December 6 and is the swan song of the series. In these eight episodes, Nadine has a well-known football player as a customer and finds a new man in her life. Can she keep her double life hidden?

Temple (season 1)

On December 17, Videoland will make the first season of Temple available. The British thriller series is about the surgeon Daniel Milton. As soon as his wife threatens to die of a debilitating illness, the medical specialist decides to start an underground clinic. The goal is to obtain experimental drugs for his wife. There is only one problem, because the underground clinic attracts criminals as well as desperate patients. This slowly but surely threatens Daniel to end up in the underworld. Our own Carice van Houten plays the surgeon's right hand in the role of Anna. Will Daniel and Anna manage to get the right medicine?

Wu Tang: An American Saga (season 1)

Curious how the infamous rap formation The Wu-Tang Clan came about? Then this series is a must. It focuses on the life of prominent Wu-Tang member Bobby Diggs, who is better known as RZA. Where in the early nineties many young people in New York lose themselves to crack and cocaine, Diggs decides to choose the musical path. He does not do this on his own, because he knows how to 'save' all kinds of talented rappers by giving them a place in the rap collective. In this series, the young musicians face all kinds of challenges and temptations. Incidentally, Bobby Diggs was closely involved in the creation of the series. The ten episodes can be seen on Videoland on December 3. The producer has already announced a second season.

Good Trouble (season 1)

Good Trouble is a true spin-off of the popular series The Fosters. The story takes place several years after the end of The Fosters finale. Callie and Mariana decide to leave the family home and start a new life in Los Angeles as young adults. The adopted sisters work as clerks and software developers respectively. The ladies seem to part ways, but their lives are more intertwined than they realize. Season 1 consists of thirteen episodes and can be seen from December 7. There is good news for the fans, because Good Trouble already has a second season. A third season is also in the works.

Richard Groenendijk: For Everything

Cabaret shows also regularly appear on Videoland. For the show Om Alles by Richard Groenendijk you have to be patient, because subscribers can only see the show from December 30th. The comedian performed this performance during a long theater tour from 2017 to 2019, so a launch via the digital highway took a while. Armed in a striking suit and playful decor, Richard Groendijk brings the audience into laughter ecstasy.

Famous movies

As we are used to from Videoland, the streaming service will again open a can of well-known films in December. Enjoy four Jurassic Park films, including Mamma Mia!, Despicable Me (1 & 2), Beyond the Law and Star trek: Into Darkness.
