It was first thought that Disney+ would make its debut in America in November, but it has now become clear that the Netherlands is the chosen country where the service is now the first available as a trial version. The Disney Answer to Netflix is officially on view from November 12, but what exactly can you expect?
Disney promises that in the first year there will be as many as 500 movies and 7500 episodes of their existing content. In addition, new series and films are also being made especially for Disney+. In the first year of service, 25 of these should be released in terms of series and 10 in terms of original films. Disney+ will not put an entire season of a new series online in one go, like Netflix, but will add an episode every week until the season ends. In this way, it hopes to bind viewers longer.
These are interesting plans, but does it make sense to sign up for a subscription right from the start? What does it show if you start a subscription on November 12? That's a long list, because where Disney quickly conjures up the image of classic cartoons such as Lion King, The Little Mermaid and Bambi, Disney is considerably bigger than that. It not only owns Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel, but recently bought 20th Century Fox. Here's the complete list of what to expect on November 12:

A trial version of Disney+ will be available starting September 12, 2019. It will allow you to use Disney+ for free until the service officially goes live on November 12.

Now that Disney has bought 20th Century Fox, even more content is coming to Disney+. Think for example of National Geographic series, such as Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan, Earth Live, Cosmos and Running Wild With Bear Grylls. Movies such as Avatar, Fantastic Mr Fox, The Sound of Music and The Princess Bride are also coming to Disney+. The complete series The Simpsons and Malcolm in the Middle, like the aforementioned films, will also come directly to Disney + on November 12.
