In an ideal world, we always close all doors behind us, and we always neatly log out of services we use. In reality, however, this does not always happen. Logging out (barring security) isn't necessarily a problem if it happens on a computer that only you have access to. But if you use several computers, this means that you will soon be logged in on several computers. This can be very dangerous, especially with sensitive services such as Gmail. Fortunately, there is a simple solution.
You could, of course, log into any computer you've used Gmail on, but that's not very practical. Moreover, you would have a problem if you are logged in to, for example, your ex's computer, which you no longer have access to. That's exactly why Gmail has built in a feature that allows you to log out of all the computers you're logged in to at once.
Log out Gmail on all devices
To log out of all computers and devices at once, surf to Gmail and log in to your account and then click at the bottom right of the screen. Details (It also shows how many other locations Gmail is open). You will now see an overview of all places where your Gmail account is active.
For example, if you see the United States here (as in our case), do not be alarmed, it does not (immediately) mean that you have been hacked. Services that you have given access to your account (such as to-do apps, Pokémon Go, etc) are also shown here. click on Details if you are not sure about a certain value. You can now log out of all services by clicking Log out on all other web sessions. You are now logged out everywhere in one fell swoop. Keep in mind that you will then have to log in again to services that use Gmail (such as the aforementioned services).
