When connecting a storage medium to the PC, Windows offers the possibility to import photos and videos. However, it can be annoying that the system remembers which images have already been downloaded.
When connecting a memory card, phone, camera or USB drive, Windows offers the option to import photos and videos by default. A very handy tool, with which you can quickly copy all photos and videos to the desired location.
Reset
An annoying feature of the program is that it remembers which photos have already been imported. If you want to import all photos from the same device again, this will no longer work. To clear the 'memory' of the program so that all photos can be imported again, the file that saves which photos have been imported can be deleted.
Open To carry out (Windows key+R) and type: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Photo Acquisition. Customize the file name PreviouslyAcquired.db on or remove it.
Delete or rename the file to 'reset' the import tool.
