How to disable the keylogger in Windows 10

If you clicked through the settings without paying too much attention during the installation of Windows 10, Microsoft automatically keeps track of everything you type. If you don't want this, you can easily disable it.

Everything you type in, say, or write with your stylus in Windows 10 will be tracked, unless you've already unchecked it during installation. The intention is to make the digital assistant Cortana as personal, intuitive and accurate as possible. The more Cortana knows about you, the better the suggestions she can make. However, not everyone is happy that literally everything that is said, typed or written is stored. Fortunately, it is possible to disable the feature. However, this does have a negative impact on how Cortana works.

Disable Windows 10 Information Collection

Open it Start menu and go to Institutions. In the window that pops up, click Privacy. In the left panel, click General, and a page titled Change privacy options.

In the middle of this page is the option Send information about how I write to Microsoft to help improve future typing and writing functionality. Set the switch under this option to from.

Go back to the left panel and click Speech, handwriting and typing. On the page that appears in the right panel, click Stop getting to know. You will then receive a warning that all information stored by Cortana to offer better suggestions will be deleted. Agree to disable the feature entirely. Disabling this feature will disable speech recognition and Cortana as well.
