In September 2016, Instagram introduced a feature that many users have been waiting for a long time: the ability to save Instagram drafts. There's only one small problem with that feature: those concepts can't be removed anymore...or so it seems. Of course it is possible, you just need to know how.
Creating an Instagram draft is useful, because sometimes you need a little more time for the ideal post than you initially thought. And if you have chosen the perfect filter and have set it exactly the way you want, it is of course very irritating if you cannot save it. That's what the concepts are for.
Create a draft
You create an Instagram concept by starting a new post in the app. You press the plus sign at the bottom, select a photo and press Next one. Then you apply a filter that you like, after which you press again Next one. You are now in the section where you can enter text. This is when the draft function is activated. When you're up twice now Previous the post will not just disappear, but you will be asked if you want to save it as a draft. If you choose this, you can edit the post later.
Delete a draft
But how do you remove those concepts? When you press the plus sign at the bottom in Instagram, a field with drafts will appear above the section with photos on your smartphone (if you have saved drafts). Note that on Android smartphones you first have to scroll up in the list of photos. When you tap on these drafts, you can edit them, but not delete them. You can delete it via a very small option on the right, called To manage. Press this option and then To process top right. Now you can select the photos and press Delete messages at the bottom - or remove at the top of Android phones. It is quite cumbersome, but it is possible.
