It is very annoying when you have to sit and wait for a program to open or for the text you are trying to type to appear on the screen. Fortunately, there are a number of things you can do to make Windows 10 run a little faster. Also read: How to Restore Windows 10 to Old Windows Version.
Disable Autoloaders
If Windows takes a very long time to fully boot, it could be because a lot of programs are also loaded in the background while the operating system is loading. In many cases, a so-called autoloader is installed with it.
An autoloader is a tool that ensures that (part of) the program in question is also loaded when Windows is started. This can be, for example, an update checker of a certain program, a configuration tool for your printer, mouse or webcam, a synchronization tool from a cloud service, and so on. The more autoloaders that are active, the longer it takes to fully start Windows.
You probably don't need a lot of these autoloaders. To disable them you have to right click on taskbar and task management Selecting. If you don't see any tabs at the top of the window that appears, click More details click. Then select the tab Startup.
You will now see a list of all programs and services that Windows tries to load automatically during startup. Try to find items in this list that you don't need. If you want to see more information about an item, you can right click on it and Characteristics or you can learn more about it online by clicking Search online to click. If you have decided that a particular autoloader is unnecessary, you can then disable it by right-clicking on it and Switch off to choose.
Disable animations
Windows looks nicer and more fun with animations, but they put a strain on your computer, which can make it slower.
To disable the animations, right-click on the Startbutton click and System Selecting. In the left panel in the window that appears, click advanced system settings. Click on the tab Advanced and click the button Institutions in the section Performance. Click on the tab Visual Effects, choose Best performance and confirm your choice.
Adjust the power settings
If your computer is set to be energy efficient, it may happen that the device runs slower.
If you think the power settings are responsible for your PC's slowness, you can adjust them in Control Panel. You can get here by right-clicking on the Startbutton and Control Panel to select.
At the top right of the screen that appears, click the search bar and type Power management. Click on the search result and click in the screen Choose or customize a power plan on the arrow next to View additional schedules. Then you can select the High performance check, which will make your computer run faster, but less energy-efficiently.
