Easy upload
You can of course put files on your HiDrive using the software, but it is extra handy that this can also be done via e-mail. In the file manager you can configure the email upload for a folder of your choice. This gives the folder a unique e-mail address. If you (or someone else) send an e-mail with an attachment to this address, that attachment will automatically end up in your HiDrive folder. If you want to collaborate with others, you can also generate a link that allows others to upload files to a certain folder, even without a HiDrive account. Collaborating with others in the 'public' folder is possible if they have a HiDrive account, making it easy to share files. This gives you optimal flexibility.
Share everywhere
HiDrive supports a huge number of connection protocols, namely (s)ftp/ftps, webdav, smb/cifs, rsync, scp & git. If this doesn't mean anything to you: it ensures that you can access and manage your files in all kinds of possible ways. For example, as a network drive for backups, but also as a media server, so that you can easily view audio, photos and videos on your console or media box. A great feature of HiDrive is that you can back up your Android or iOS device. Even more convenient is that you can also restore these backups cross-platform, in other words: you can restore an iOS backup to an Android device and vice versa (of course this only concerns data, contacts, files and so on). You can also normally add this function to your account for 2 euros per month; this function is included in the offer in the box, so you save 2 euros per month permanently.
In addition, the HiDrive mobile app ensures that you never need a scanner again. With the push of a button, you can easily scan documents, after which they are automatically saved in a folder on your HiDrive account. The text can then be searched and selected.
