Many programs install unnecessary toolbars in, for example, Internet Explorer or Firefox if you put a tick wrong. Fortunately, these toolbars are easy to remove.
There are several ways to get rid of an unwanted toolbar. For example, most toolbars in Firefox are installed as add-ons. Remove these by going to Tools / Add-ons and choosing Uninstall .
Internet Explorer users can remove toolbars by going to Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel. Then choose Delete from the unwanted toolbar. If nothing helps and your browser shows problems, open Internet Explorer and go to Tools / Internet Options . Open the Advanced tab and click the Reset button. Note: this action resets Internet Explorer and removes all custom settings!
You can remove a toolbar via Add-ons in the Control Panel or in Firefox via the Add-ons option.
